I love holiday weekends, but more so when my husband takes an extra day off {like today!}...I got to sleep in until 7:30am {which on a preschool day that is sleeping in}...I didn't have to take Noah to school because he wanted his cool dad to do it...I got to get ready without hurrying and took my time......AND.....
I got my new furniture today for our loft area {it's a huge "landing" area at the top of our stairs}...I love it!!! We now need to hang up our pictures and bring the lamp back upstairs. I'll post another picture when it's "complete". We also ordered fabric to match the pieces to make drapes and a cornice board. YAY! What a great way to start off the weekend....

PLUS...we got lunch at one of our favorite places!
AND, we are having a Date Night tonight....I'm sure some of you can't believe it, but I love action movies and I have been wanting to see the new Fast & Furious movie. So off to the dollar movie theatre.... 
AND...then for dinner at another favorite place.
Could this day get any better???I hope you have plans for a fun weekend. We are going to visit our friends down in Coronado tomorrow, they are camping down there for the weekend. Then Monday we are going to go see the new Night at the Museum movie and have a BBQ/Swim party at my parents.
