When we bought our house the backyard was a {blank canvas} and Scott has been hard at work. There are some projects that he does not care to take on. But, our canvas is starting to look pretty colorful!

We have (I get to very soon say had) a dirt yard....I know this picture is dark, but it shows the dirt...and look at the amazing sunset colors!

Then the sprinklers were finished, the dirt was raked smooth....the curbing was laid.....

The flowers are ready...these are actually hanging baskets that Scott is going to hang on the fence.

AND.......

the grass is
GREEN!!!!
LOVE IT!Now we just have to wait 2 weeks before we can step on it and 3-4 weeks until it can be played on. You know what that means?? A lot of reminding is going to be going on!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE your blog, your house, your yard, your flowers, your scrapbook projects, just everything you do! All your posts this time were so fun. Good luck keeping noah off the grass for that long. Is this the fake grass or the real stuff - cause it looks awfully real to me! :)
ReplyDeleteThe yard looks gorgeous! I love the hanging pots too! Wow those are amazing.....What kind of grass can you not walk on for 2 weeks?
ReplyDeleteValerie, thank you for making Christine start a blog!! I too am loving it! We miss you Christine! But I feel like i can stay in touch through your blog. Your house is AMAZING! Good job with the yard Scott. Love it!!
ReplyDeleteI love your yard. It is so fun to see the before and after pictures...what a transformation. I love the curtains and the recipe...it is one of my favorites. Now I just wish you lived closer so I could see it all in person.
ReplyDeleteI would like to see pictures after the hanging baskets are on the fence, I'm having a hard time picturing it. Also, I'm very jealous that you have a fence! Love the yard!
