B.R.A.G.

I am so blessed to have a wonderful extended family. I cannot even tell you how awesome it is to know that I have this whole other family out there...I don't see them often, I don't talk to them often, but I do think of them often (and I keep up on their blogs). It's great to know that when I see them, it's like no time has passed. I have a cousin, Leslie, who I am very close to...we are not only cousins, but we are friends also. I love her to death. Twice a year she organizes a BRAG event at her parents condo in Midway, Utah. BRAG stands for Bradford Reunion Adult Girls. All "girls" who have graduated from HS are invited to come to the condo & do whatever they want. Usually it is to scrapbook. BUT, there is swimming, hot tub, movies, talking, crafts of any kind, food and occasionally sleeping! It is a lot of fun. I have been once before in March of 2007. Well, it just happened that this time my Mom, my two sisters Deanna & Stephanie and my Dad flew to Utah on Thursday April 23rd and came back on Sunday evening April 26th . I know my Dad is not a girl! He came along with his favorite girls...he actually spent one night at his Dad's house and the rest in Bountiful at his brothers home. He spent Friday with his Dad and brother. On Saturday he had lunch with some good friends who now live in Utah. He was busy.

We had a great time. We flew in Thursday, went shopping, ate dinner at Cafe Rio (yum!) and then on to the condo. Sunday afternoon we took Stephanie to the airport for her flight. We then went to my Aunt & Uncle's house. We had a great dinner and then off to the airport for our flight home. They were so nice to let us invade their home for a couple of hours, eat and then fly away!

So there were 14 people up at the condo. We had a great time. I worked on scrapbooking my Disney Cruise that we took in December of 2006. Crazy, I know! But, I was able to complete a large portion of the trip. I didn't complete it all. That was one full trip. All four of us worked on this same trip. It was a lot of fun. It makes me want to go on another Disney Cruise. If you have never been, it is well worth it!!

We had a great time, lots of laughs, memories made and I want to go again! There were people everywhere, sleeping on the floor, on the couches....it was a big slumber party!! We our going to plan on going in October of 2010. So far away!

I am grateful for a wonderful family. For wonderful cousins who amaze me and inspire me. It also was wonderful to see some of my Aunts. Thank you Leslie for organizing this event. Thank you Dallas & Margie for your condo in such a beautiful place. For us girls that do not live in the snow...it was BEAUTIFUL to wake up to this on Sunday.....

I'm looking forward to the next time!
