The end is near....

This picture probably doesn't make much sense when you read the title, but it will!
{this adorable creation was a project that Noah had to make for Open House this year...he had to create a flower/plant...so Noah & his Dad came up with this and made it TOGETHER,  the only part I did was cut out the colored flowers, the rest was the boys and Noah did most of the work.  He brought it home today from school and wanted a picture of it taken for our blog}

Today is the start of the last week of kindergarten!  Can you believe it?  Hard to believe that school will be over in 4 more short days...and our little boy is so excited that he will be in FIRST grade next school year.  FIRST grade!

I think he is more excited about having 2 recesses!  He doesn't realize that the school day will be longer AND that there will be more homework.  He is going to be in for a real treat.  Or, maybe I should say I will be in for a treat.  Homework was a hard fight with the two of us.  And it was kindergarten homework.  Can't wait for the "real" homework.  I'm hoping that he will have a teacher that will help him LOVE to learn new things (and read!).

It's time for a change around here....the end is near.....and the summer is about to begin!

BRING IT ON!!!

  1. Mckinly is done next week. She is excited for 1st grade, too!! She is in full day kindergarten and goes every other day. I think it will make the transition to first grade easier. By the way, your garden looks really nice!! We finally got ours planted last saturday.
