I LOVE having Easter Sunday on a General Conference Weekend. It is wonderful to be able to stay home all weekend & listen to the messages from the leaders of our Church. What a blessing to have it on Easter Sunday also, when we can remember what our Savior has done for us, the sacrifice he has made for all of us.
This morning we had a little family Easter Egg Hunt. Noah was so excited. He actually woke up at 6:30 this morning & went in the backyard...he wanted to meet the Easter Bunny & shake his hand & say, "Happy Easter". Really?? 6:30??? Does he not realize this is a rare opportunity to actually sleep in on a Sunday. We didn't have to leave the house at 8:10am to get to church on time. He even went out in the backyard....but there was nothing.
After Noah took a shower, miraculously, the Easter Bunny visited during this time! amazing! When he was getting dressed he was looking out our bedroom window down in to the backyard, searching with his eyes, looking carefully, pretending he had his xray glasses on....and low and behold! "I SEE ONE! I SEE AN EASTER EGG...I HAVE TO GO GET IT!"
We hurriedly finished getting dressed & we were out in the chilly weather. It was just under 50 degrees this morning. That's chilly.Sorry for a lot of pictures that look a lot alike, I'm trying to decide which one I like the most.
We had a great time & ate a delicious breakfast. I'm going to attempt making a carrot cake from scratch...I'll let you know how it turns out.

Glad you had a great Easter. I loved listening to conference too. I wish it would work like that every year!
