Oh my goodness!! I have my "routine" and I think it works pretty good for our little family. But my routine this month has been interrupted and caused some MADNESS, but it's been well worth it!
My sister and brother-in-law took two of their four kids on a spring break trip to NY City & Washington DC. The two leftover children got the pleasure of coming to stay with us....it's only 2 kids, right?! Well on the same day our fabulous friends from Kansas City came for a visit also. So in a few short hours our home of 3 turned into a home of 10! It was awesome!!!
We had a great time reminiscing, laughing, playing, eating, visiting (and can we forget setting up a blog!) We love our dear friends Jeff & Valerie and their 3 kids, Jackson, Emma-Kate & Lizzie. It was so fun to see them again & have a "sleep-over" as Noah calls it. The time was too short...but so enjoyed.
The following day we went to Legoland with our friends...unfortunately I did not bring my camera, but we had a great day. It was busy as far as my Legoland standards go, but the kids loved it.
We had a great time with Emma & Mason being new members of our household. Mason became fast friends with our good friends son, and because they live 4 houses up from our house, it was very convenient. They had their meeting times all planned and really enjoyed hanging out with each other. It was nice for me at times because I did not have to find ways to entertain him.
We played at the park a couple of times, rode scooters & bikes, played games, played the Wii, watched movies....got into trouble a lot because of jumping on the beds!
The last day they were here we went to the ever popular Chuck E Cheeses...why do kids love that place???? You can tell by their faces that they had a great time. And who can pass up their pizza?!?!? Kidding!!
The night before Emma & Mason left, Grandma B came down for her sleepover (and then she took the kids to her house the next day)....we had a little birthday party for Grandma while she was here and the kids were so excited!
All Grandma's need help opening their gifts, right?!
She can't even sing, "It's my party and I'll cry if I want to...."
Happy Birthday Grandma B.
We love you!!!

Yay! I am so happy that I get to keep up on this amazing family that I met last year at CKU-Chicago! I miss you gals....happy birthday Grandma B.!
